What are Hospice Teen Volunteers?

A Teen Volunteer Program is a special program that enables high school students to make hospice volunteering a part of their educational experience in collaboration with local high schools. Student-run hospice council meetings, support from hospice volunteer coordinators, and opportunities to meet with other teen volunteers enrich the experience. Typical HTV activities range from brightening someone’s day with a visit to sharing computer knowledge to producing a cherished life review personal history video, photo album, DVD, or journal.
