Ba-ruch a-tah A-do-nai, El-o-hei-nu Me-lech Ha-O-lam, a-sher kid-sha-nu b’mitz-vo-tav v’tzi-va-nu l’had-lik ner shel Ha-nu-kkah.
Blessed are you O Holy One, our G-d, Guide of the Cosmos, who sanctifies us by your sacred ways and instructs us to kindle the Lights of Hanukkah.
Ba-ruch a-tah A-do-nai, El-o-hei-nu Me-lech Ha-O-lam, sheh a-sa ni-ssim l’avo-tei-nu bi-ya-mim ha-hem, laz-man ha-zeh.
Blessed are you O Holy One, our G-d, Guide of the Cosmos, who has done miracles for our Ancestors in those days, at this season.
